This is an original set of Effanbee’s Most Happy Family, circa 1957 – early 1960s. The set includes four members: Mother (20”, swivel waist, marked “Effanbee”), Fluffy (10”, all jointed vinyl, marked “Fluffy / Effanbee”), Mickey (10”, jointed vinyl, marked “Mickey / Effanbee”), and Baby (8”, jointed vinyl )
This family of 4 beautiful dolls comes in their original clothes and don't appear to have played with much...maybe just displayed. I had this exact set as a child, but believe me, mine has been played with...This set of dolls in these outfits is the hardest of all the families to find.
This Mother is brunette and is dressed in a white shirtwaist dress with plaid trim and red belt, petticoat, panties, hose and original high heels. Straw hat with matching plaid trim, earrings, pearl necklace, bracelet, and her original wedding rings. All four dolls have coordinating outfits, and are complete except one of the little boy's shoes is missing.....The Momma's and Fluffy's shoes appear to have been replaced. The baby still has her original bottle and Momma still has her original engagement and wedding rings....These usually are always missing after all these years...
His chaps have stiffened, and he wears his tiny original shoes and socks.
