Description: This is a beautiful couch I found in Southern Kentucky. I purchased this from a gentleman that was featured on American Pickers. He said he believed this to be an "Empire" couch, circa 1880, (based on my research I'm guessing 1840's), and that it has been tastefully reupholstered at some point in time. As you can see from the pictures, it's gives a 'Wow!' first impression. It has many imperfections upon close inspection, but none that will keep you from falling in love with it. There are many dents and dings in the wood, a few cracks, as well a chunk taken out of the wood in a few spots (pictured). That being said, it's a beautiful and fully functional couch that would make an amazing statement piece for a photo shoot (can't you see your rock band on this couch?), hipster bar, city apartment, waiting area in restaurant, or an antique home. I have additional detailed photos, feel free to request more.
Measurements (approximate): 34.5" Tall, 86" Long, 27" Deep.
