Extremely rare Bebe Jumeau Lioret phonograph doll. She is 24" tall with the correct and original bisque head marked 1907 & 11 & Tete Jumeau. Her bisque has several breaks/partial repair but is sturdy and thankfully does not affect any of the facial features. Her composition body is in wonderful shape but unfortunately is missing the phonograph mechanism. I have searched for years for a replacement but have never found one. Body is marked Bebe Jumeau S.G.D.G and Depose. A complete doll without bisque issues could run anywhere from $6 to 10,000 but I adjusted her BIN price according to her faults.
She wears and original Bebe Jumeau dress (silk is melting away) with the original black netting stockings underneath newer crocheted socks and replacement shoes. Her undies are antique. Her hands has chipping with repaint but all fingers are intact.
She has what I believe is a synthetic wig which sheds really, really badly but still appears to to be full and suits her beautiful face. She is wearing and antique or vintage 100% wool beret made in Normandy France.
